Since most of my mp3 are 160-320 kbp/s converting to wav then to ogg converts a 10 meg mp3 to a 50 meg wav to a 4 meg ogg. Yes there is some sound degration, very little, but no way near the 128 kbp/s and at a smaller size than the 128 kpb/s.
