Damn windows update

hey, windows update popped up the other day and asked if i wanted to isntall these 2 updates...
i clicked off both the check marks so that it wouldnt...
it said to close it so i did...
now it sits in the system tray and wont go away!!
all i can do is pause and resume it 🙁 😕

if u can help me to get it to go away please post 🙂

have you turned off automatic updates? located in system properties>automatic updates??


i dont know whether this will solve the tray problem but turning off the automatic updates was about the first thing i did after installing windows xp!

To notify me before downloading updates & to notify me again before installing updates.🙂
