dail-up connection password

Dail-up connection???

Strange thing happening when I dail-up.
My password dubbels itself when I use I.E.
This happens only when I use I.E, not on any other programs.
The connection fails,because the password is not accepted.
Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Do you actually manage to connect ok ? Windows does some strange things with password masking so the password appears longer than it really is.
