Only downside is the 1TB HD in retrospect but I have a 4TB WD Black external to make up for it (and I put games like RUST and Warhammer Total War 2 on the SSD, along with just the OS / app files for speed purposes)

Very nice, still using a system with an old I7-5930k in, although considering an NVIDIA 3080 when Cyberpunk comes around.

Picked up a 32" Samsung G7 monitor recently which is lovely, although I had to go down to 2 monitors to fit it on my desk!

I just use the one monitor, my new 2560x1440 screen I bought to go with this PC, but it's has a good screen quality and is very clear.

Cyberpunk hopefully should run on all sorts of rigs as when the witcher 3 came out a few years ago it still ran OK on my old PC, so while I'm saying it won't run on a toaster, cd project tend to optimise their games well.

Yeah, its just an excuse - I was using 3x 1920x1080 displays that only had a 90hz refresh rate, then I read an article saying 144hz wasn't fast enough ;o

I have reached the point in my PC life that I had to look up what all the below parts were: (I stole your format)

How is the quality on the CORSAIR 650W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET? I'm working on a upgrade and basically want to go with a higher wattage power supply but read on Newegg issues with some of the Corsair Power Supplies so kind of interested in first hand input

I have the Corsair AX860i PSU which may well have been replaced by now, but one thing I love about it is that the fan is only on when its needed (which seems to be never) so it is obviously very quiet!

So you had no issues with your generation of that PSU, which is encouraging. Off to see if I can find the current version of it

Were you able to score one?

Well it has certianly been a journey since the 17th.
The card I initially picked the Ventus, there were only a certain number available at a certain discounted price. So by the time I had added it to my basket (ie the second it was available) it was gone. Site I was trying to order on died, eventually managed to get one at a non-discount price with no bundle after 30 minutes.

30 minutes during the launch was of course a life time, so in the several days that followed I ordered a few Asus TUF cards as they were the one I ultimately wanted. Ordered those on the 19th.

Then the whole MOSFET/POSCAP thing happened and I got cold feet and cancelled the Ventus order.

Nothing since then on those 2 other Asus orders, I think early next year currently but I don't believe it.

So I picked up a Gigabyte GHaming OC from a local scalper, cheaper than eBay but judging by the number he had for sale, I hope the bastard gets caught by the tax authority.

The two cards I have pre-ordered are about $150 lower than current retail, so I need to have those arrive and sell them at current retail to cover my own cost.

But yeah can't compalin very cool and quiet -- and very powerful.

Shame its another bloody bit of RGB software to install to keep the lights off or synchronised tho :)

Damn. That is a lot of work for a card. I managed to grab a 3070 for retail + $40 but then sold it to a friend.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
