CS compatible with xp pro?

My retail version of cs is sitting on my shelf for a while since I upgrade to XP Pro and I haven't installed.

anyone knows if it works on xp? and which is the latest version? 1.2 , 1.3 or what? I see 1.4 on the news.

It should work fine, tho it can have problems with some of the componants tha cna be installed with the Powertoys...
