Is it possible to create a new partition/volume on my hard drive (ultimate aim is to dual boot 2OS) without reformatting and losing my current Xp OS install? The current set up is only one volume and I'm aware that each OS would need it's own partition......

PartitionMagic :)

You would resize your existing partition, making space for a new one, and then create a new partition in the free space.

YEah .. Partition Majic or Acroniis Partition Expert will do it ..

ah, i love partition magic. it's definitely one of the better apps out there.

Do they offer a free trial with partition magic? I'd like to try before I buy....;)

No, unfortunately Powerquest and Acronis show you the actions available, in their trial partition software , without being able to put that particular process into practice.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
