Cpu support??

I want to upgrade my old computer with a larger processor.....750mhz+++
I have a asus p3v4x motherboard, with a 450mhz, but i dont know how mutch the motherboard can handle..!!
Does anyone have an ide????😕
Can i use celeron processors??
(I have a adapter for fcpga processors)
