corrupted profile in startup

Does anyone has a solution to the following problem:

When I start Win XP Pro in the welcome screen I get a message that sais windows cannot load your profile it corrupted or...
Every time that I arrange it as before the next time that I restart it is reseted

I have fixed it several times with system restore but after a couple of days it happens .
I havent installed anything new

You will need to create a new profile (temp?) profile and then relog in, backup what you can, delete the old account and recreate it - or at least thats what I did. Never found outwhcih file was actually corrupted.

How do I create a new profile?
There is not an option in the system properties>advanced>user profiles
