Nice little guide on how to control iTunes via a web-page locally hosted, very easy to set-up considering Mac OSX ships with Apache and PHP which can be enabled at the click of a button: http://www.macmod.com/content/view/95// :)

Note that the article states that PHP doesn't come with OSX, but in-fact it does, it's simply not enabled by default. To enable PHP do the following:
PHP isn't enabled by default, so you'll need to edit the Apache configuration file. It's located at /etc/httpd/httpd.conf. The necessary lines should already be in there, but commented out. Just remove the # from in front of these lines:

LoadModule php4_module libexec/httpd/libphp4.so
AddModule mod_php4.c
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

You'll need to restart the web server for this change to take effect. All you need to do is go back to Sharing and stop and start it again.

I've seen ickle things like that doing the net rounds, but I can't honestly think when I'd ever use it ... but... surely, there would be a time... maybes?? oO

I can't think of one either, just thought it was cool :p

If I really need to control one computer from another, I always use VNC anyway :)

can you get apple script to list all of the libraries the iTunes thing has, and playlists, and then let you sort them, and or add them to party mix. This way you can let people touch a keyboard and mouse, but not your lovely mac, which can be sitting some place else so that it does not get dirty and whatnot, can it be done?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
