Ok, so when you add people to your contact list in Outlook, you can view them many different ways. By first name, by last name, or by company name. But if you open up a new e-mail and click To: so you can pick people out of your contact list, everyone is listed there in alaphabetical order by first name. Is there anyway to change that so they show up in alaphabetical order by last name?

well when I get to options there isn't any place to highlight personal address book. This is Outlook XP, I don't know if that makes a difference. If I go into a person listed in my contact list and open them up, I change all 3... file as, display as, and full name to last name first, first name. But when I open up a new e-mail to write and click on to and try to choose from my contacts, everyone is still listed first name first.

I apologize, I didn't reread my post after I wrote it. It should read:

Open Outlook
>>>OPEN ADDRESS BOOK (sorry - forgot this step)
Click on Tools
Click on Options
Hilight Personal Address Book
Click on Properties
Make the change.

This changes the order in Address Book

To change the Contact View,

Open Outlook
Click on Tools
Click on Options
On the page you see first, Click the Contact Options Button and make the changes.

Sorry, my first post was written in a hurry.
