Config file for GTA3?

is there a config file (like quake) in my GTA3 folder?

if so, where is the line that handles what resolution the game is being played in?

So far ive experienced a wierd bug that wont let me change the sound system, or the screen resolution..

Try changing the sound/resolution then hitting enter after the change...if you just change it and then leave the menu without hitting enter the settings don't stick =/

actually, i must confess im an idiot hehe

i thought u could only change the settings via a mouse click, but as most probably know you can only change screen res and sound system with the left and right arrow keys

however, i do have a legitimate problem that has persisted : everytime i load a saved game, my mouse sensitivity goes back to the defualt setting, which is way to high. no matter how many times i save the game with my proper mouse sensi, it always goes back to default.

So, is there a config file or not? If i changed this setting in the config, it would fix the problem.
