Compaq cd driver wanted urgent

I have a compaq cd driver model ltn403 tha does not like xp
it come up with irql not less or equal
compaq ltd does not have a drive on there web site or I cant find it.
it has other people asknig the same ? on there forum pages

Does anyone have a solution

most cd drives don't have a driver...are you sure the irq less or not = is coming from the drive and you've eliminated any other cause...if so try moving the drive cable it is on I.e. switch it from primary to secondary controller master to slave etc...
