CDRW Prob, MYSTERIOUS REBOOT

ok, to get a sucessful CD burned. It takes about 30 min, 4 reboots (Xp does it on its Own), and like 5 CD's. Very annoying. Anywayz anyone know whats happening?

We need some more info, such as system specs, what burning software your using, is the cdrw set to DMA or PIO...etc...just give us some more details and we should be able to help you out.

PIO and DMA are data transfer modes between the ide channels of your computer.

how much ram do you have?

what are the specs on your burner?

As others know older versions of Nero have compatibility problems with xp . So , what version have you used ?

i got it, the Shut Down after COmplete shit was clicked. Thats why whenever it had a buff under-run it would restart
