Bluetooth with XP SP2

[bbarnard]

Before you jump me I am not looking for a work around I am simply looking for the names of Bluetooth dongles that actually work with SP2. If you don't want to recommend a spicific unit a suggested source/list would be halpfull. Even a recommendation on what keywords to use to narrow down a search would be helpful.

Thanks,
Bob Barnard

I have a sitecom bluetooth dongle that works fine with xp2 pro. Just make sure in devicemanager the right drivers are used for the dongle, although the MS drivers work too with this one...

You can make any old bluetooth adapter use the (far superior) microsoft driver.

All you really have to do is find the hardware id and edit an inf file. The article has all the details.
