Blank panels

Please can anyone help, as regards to some sites that I try to download, I get large white blank areas, and a very small square in the top left corner of each large square, which has a red x in it.
Then a url to the right of the small square in blue, which then takes me to the site when I click on the url.
What is the reason for the blank areas. Or is it just a cheap way to have a web site etc? 😕 😱

Hi xsive, It is a similar problem, but if i click on the url to the right of the lil red x, then it takes me to the site.
I have checked the IE properties in advanced, and (show all images are checked,)
This does not happen with all downloads, only a few, especially Quizzes. 🙁 😕

ps. I have gone to the sites that Jewelzz suggested, and have had no problem D/L them.
I assume that it must be a problem with the actual sites themselves.
