BIOS Slow?

Okay, I had an Asus P3V4X with a P3 Coppermine 667 and a Viper II. Dumped the Viper II (no drivers sucks) and got a GF2 Mx-200. Then the BIOS was acting slow with the memory test taking longer than with the Viper II. Got my new board and proc, more of the same. The mobo BIOS is also slow to respond. What gives?

BIOS Setup

Set up your BIOS properly... My MB has it's own BIOS options i need to set for it to work properly/optimum speed...

Check the caching settings.... that slows down everything immensely even though you can use the computer without it.

Remeber that there often is a "Quick POST" option in your bios setting, turn it on to ensure fast bios-test on startup

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
