best linux

FreeBSD 5.3 works beautifally on the beast of a machine we have at school. There is no reason for it not to work. What did it fail on?

i was trying the amd64 edition though it was failling somewhere i think it said failed to install base system

ok i just installed uBuntu linux the 32-bit version it's wokring but i must say it feels too empty and too basic-ish like-ish yea-ish, someone pointed that out on a post above, it feels so much different than SuSE, but it's cool i think it's a nice linux for beginners and then i could start moving on to the more advanced one
