backweb error

when i start up my computer + log on i get the error:

invalid backweb aplication id 137903

wot da hell is backweb + why do i get this error?

backweb is actually spyware. Just use adaware to get rid of it.

i downloaded ad-aware + did scan but it didn't pick it up also backweb has been on the computer since we brought it new.

Ahhh.

I just noticed you have an hp. I used to have one too. Back web is something that they install too. YOu should be ok just deleting it. But DO A RESTORE POINT FIRST. My experience was with removing it from WinME.
