Yup, surfing sensibly is the most important thing to do. Don't open mails with weird subjects or unknown people ... especially if you have a Hotmail account.
well I decided to install AVG and give it a whirl. Norton tends to slow my performance a bit. So far AVG is able to do everything I need it to without a noticable decrease in performance. I thought about installing just norton antivirus from my system works disc but didin't..
Also someone mentioned that I should get the corporate addition of NAV. Through my university they offer it as a free download to all of thier students because of the virus problems on thier network.
The reason I thought of AVG was that I've read alot of posts about it in these forums.
welll I'll give it a go and if I decide later on I may put NAV Corp. Ed. on.
I had Norton 2003 and recently have coverted to AVG and I must say I am impressed with it.
I had it on trial for a month and then bought it and have the free updates on it , whereas Norton charge you yearly for the updates and I have never liked their marketing ploy of a new program every year.
I find AVG much faster.
Horses for courses I suppose
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
