Automatic Dialup Connection

When I bootup XP, Dialup Connection loads automatically at startup. DUN neither appears in my startup menu, or as far as I can tell using msconfig, in my startup.ini. How can I stop it from loading???

I had that problem for a while but then it stopped...dunno what happened though...

You were right DarkSiege. The problem went away just as you reported. I did find that TweakXP ver. 1.29 has a control for this behavior.

Is the "Dial-Up Connections" folder simply appearing on startup or is it popping up the connection dialog asthough it is about to connect?

If its popping up the connection dialog you may need to search your registy for the following key(s): EnableAutodial and make sure that any instances of it are set to a Hex value of: 0
