I think I am infected with Vundo. The symptoms are - lots of Pop-Ups when browsing, and also the inability to switch on Windows Automatic Update. Lavasof Adaware won't seem to shift it - but then again my version is out of date and it seems impossible to get it up todate. AVG virus scan also seems unable to shift it. I have an Hijack This log attached....if anyone can help please let me know. Many thanks Hijack this file below - it I could not upload it for some reason ?

are you able to go to your uninstall menu and remove it that way ?? I hate trojans. The last time I had one I had to reformat - That might be what you have to do as well.

[edit] After looking over your hijackthis again; I don't see anything in there that is referable to vundo. Did you install a freeware program that required a third party toolbar or something to run it? [/edit]

[edit] [edit] Remove these items:

Thanks guys - I got rid of it with a Malaware destroy thing as suggested. Many thanks for your help. Now have another odd one - will post it in a moment :)
