Is there such an application (freebee please!) that can convert from
.Wav to Midi
or .Wav to .AU

Or .Wav to MP3 to midi ?

Nothing can convert wav to midi, completely different formats.

Actually, this is possible. It requires transposing the audio frequencies back into musical notation. Intellescore is does this pretty good, although it is not free (free trial I believe):
