If somebody downloaded the windows driver update from the windows update site, i am having troubles with it it makes my hard drive make a cluncking sound that after i unloaded them it works fine help.

Have you got your bios up-to-date? I have the Abit KT7-Raid board (Highpoint 370 controller) and if I don't have the right bios/driver combo I get mixed results... something to look into IMO.

if it makes your harddrive make a clunking sound DO NOT use it, that can cause permanent damage to the read write heads and kill the drive
