I go to install the sp on a PC and it goes all the way through up to the end right when it's ready to finish it says !Control ID not found. any idea what this might mean!! please help I am trying to get this done b 4 the end of the night thx VDUB
Has anyone heard of someone else getting this error, and being able to get a resolution, I haven't done anything but install a lexmark printer and for some reason it's not installing, could it be a bad install??!!!
I've got a Lexmark printer and have successfully installed SP1. I would doubt it to be your drivers (unless not designed for XP). Did you download the SP from Microsoft or obtain it elsewhere (or by other means)?
Got the sp off of MS site, as for the drivers they were not signed, but lexmark said to install anyways!! I didn't have any trouble b4 but this time it's just giving me problems
