annoying popup

everytime my aint reboots she said she gets this window that pops up about a "Messenger Service". I forget the name mentioned in the window, but whatever it is on her computer, she has to 'x' out of the window a million times to get it to go away. i ran ad-aware on her computer and it seemed to solve the probelm for a bit. now its back and with more force. any ideas?
