I reckon PCi will take a LOT longer to die - personally I have considerable investment in PCI add-ons and would hate to junk that....

same here.... which is why i believe either ABIT, or more likely Fatal1ty... are completely freakin RETARDED having only one PCI slot in such a stupid location. for someone using SLI with aftermarket sinks on the video cards... that basically leaves a PCI-Express x1/x4 slot or two, and their stupid little slot for the audio daughter card, which is probably just as bad as on-board sound.
