adsl and cs????

i have a asus adsl router connected to network card
prob is i play cs alot and use uk2net servers for last 4 days pings r like dial up modems,but jolt servers r good with pings of 20-30ms,my isp is pipex and help will be much appreciated thxs

my guess is that there isn't a problem. adsl is only a little faster than dialup. if i'm not mistaken, adsl runs around 128k/sec.

i think the solution is to find 2 or 3 servers that ping low and stick with those.

then again, you could drop adsl and get cable! 🙂

It's probally just the uk2 servers, they seem to be pretty unreliable some times.
I have 1mb ADSL - so 128k isn't the fastest 😛
Anyway, wait a few days and the UK2 servers should be up and running again 🙂

its the server you play on. if one server is ok and the next isn't then its the server and not you. oh, aDSL is alot faster than 128k. downloads speeds are in the area of 6mbits. so, if you have adsl and only get 128k downstream tell ur isp to piss off cause your getting ripped off big time.

I think you mean ISDN not ADSL. ADSL can go up to 8 Mbit.
