I HAVE JUST DOWNLOAD THE NEW SMARTLINK V.90/V.92 DRIVERS FOR MY MODEM, AND EVERY TIME SOMEONE PHONES ME A MESSAGE ON MY SCREEN APPEARS SAYING "YOU HAVE JUST IGNORED AN INCOMING CALL" AND THEN IT PROMPTS ME TO PUSH OK, HOWEVER SOMETIMES THIS TOTALLY CRASHES MY SYSTEM, SO I HAVE TO PUSH THE RESTART BUTTON, BUT NOT ONLY THAT, THE SYSTEM LOCKS ON THE LOGON SCREEN WHILE CHECKING THE A:\ SO THEN I HAVE TO GO INTO SAFE MODE TO DO A SYSTEM RESTORE. HOW CAN I TURN THAT MESSAGE THING OFF? AND WHY DOES MY COMPUTER LOCK UP LIKE THAT?

I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME, CD RW, AN DVD DRIVE, A:\ AN A GEFORCE3 WITH AN AMD PROCCESSOR AT 1.433.

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME???

Do you have call waiting?
If so, you can disable it when you are online.
In the US, you add *70 as a prefix of your dialup number.
I forget what it is in the UK. I will look around.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
