well herez a screenshot of before and after,, the right is before when i hit the title tab and make it arranged by title, the left is after when i reopened WMP to view all audio again seeing it NOT being arranged by title..

i guess the problem now is why my copy of WMP keeps reverting back to the previous way of ordering my mp3s

I don't understand either, sorry. I assume you are running the newest version?

And did you try sorting your audio files, then adding them to your playlist? Did that work?

i use the version that comes with windows XP.

i'm not sure what you mean by that... i cant sort my "all audio" files and i can sort my playlist files by hand. still dont know what you mean. even if i remade my playlist though it would keep on adding mp3s on the bottom makeing it unalphabetical, making me have to remake the playlist again. if thats what you mean.

I would check Windows Update for any updates related to WMP, you never know.

What I mean, is if you were to erase your entire media library and start over by pressing F3 and searching for all audio matching your parms, you could rearrange the list by alpha order and then add to your playlist and it should save.

Sorry if I am confusing you, I'm a tad tired.

i guess we're both tired.. the thing with your idea is when i add new mp3s to the list will they be in alphabetical order.. oh man i give up its not worth it for this crazy app. i'll still use it but blaah
and i'm using the latest version i just checked.
