Have a Dell system, XP home. Keyboard has buttons to adjust volume ,but I cannot get them to work. Volume is low. Is this a driver problem and would it be a keyboard or sound card driver problem?
I take it you can control the sound properly from windows. Download the latest Microsoft Certified drivers from your soundcard manafacturer. Some soundcards don't work with keyboard controls though especially pro-audio cards as the drivers for these are usually complex and don't always comply with standards.
Yep, it used to work. Changed out the hard drive and now won't work. Also even trying to control from the windows volume control, the volume is quite low.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
