Did you take a look at any of the many links that I posted? Most of those posts are by professional Mac software developers who have noticed marked inconsistencies in the UI. There are direct quotes from the Apple HCI guidelines, followed by clear, objective examples of how parts of the OS and the iApps disregard several of them. The guidelines may have been broken for "good reason" but that doesn't change the fact that they have been broken. Of course, in the end, you can choose to believe what you want, but not everyone is deluded.X-Istence said:They are. Ive never really noticed the inconsistency.

I quite like the inconsistency in the UI (though they should try and be inconsistent within their own guidelines ) when trying themes or applications which made the entire O/S follow a single colour scheme, things got boring quite quickly. May mixes like Brushed Metal and Aqua live long
Gee. Great. Thanks for sharing.kcnychief said:I feel the need to post in this thread b/c I read about it on Kunal's blog *shameless plug*
Really nifty though, I don't see the big deal either, granted I'll never use
it as I don't use Macs (hence my avatar)
An installer ? For something that literally requires the drag & drop replacement of 4 files sitting in a folder.NetRyder said:Mac Specialist now also has an installer that automatically replaces the icon
