HL2 Source Leak

I think that <theif> has just got absolutely everything from valve's network, but isn't releasing it all. As I said before, valve saying only a 1/3 of the source was leaked is just a decoy to stop people downloading it.
But I do think that everything, down to gabes porn folder, has been taken, it's only up to the discression of <theif> and his/her friends (if anything has been passed on) as to if these things go public.

And yeah, Valve don't deserve this

I think that it's worded wrong, I think (s)he means, everything taken is all that valve has. I mean that nfo was released before the Condition Zero leak, so not everything had been leaked at that point.. and I still think that there's more to come.

It could still go on after it's on the shelves, dependant if the perpetrator is caught or not. Obviously nothing can be leaked after it's out, and there was no denying that after it was available to retail, someone, somewhere, would have ripped it ready for the kiddies to download. But the guy/gal is still yet to be identified, and punished.

haha this is so funny its untrue. Valve should officially boycott Vivendi publishing and employ that hacker as their official new distributer. He seems to be doing a pretty good job of it as it is

because this is the first game ever to have its source code stolen and spread around the world because its such a big game and has one of the largest fanbase's in the world.

It's because the source was stolen I think, and because this is the most anticipated game of the moment (Although personally I'm waiting for Doom3, which I think is worth waiting for, so I aint gonna cry over delays) with so many fans waiting for it, and so many fingers being pointed, the amount of rumours multiplies, rumours get twisted and blown out of proportion.

well speedy so far doom3 has had the largest production time ever rivaled only by max payne had hallife 2 come out it would have been the shortest production time ever (from the time of anoucment to release date) yet people complain it got delayed and its still has the shortest known production time. (of a good game)
