GTA Vice City wont run on NTFS

I still fail to see how a PM could change your harddrive settings

ok now i got Partition Magic. now how do i make half NTFS and Half FAT32?

I assume you have PM 8.

Load up PM, and right click the drive of your choice (c: right?). Now go to "Resize/Move". Change C: to a smaller size (using the slider on the right hand side of the colored bar--the thing you click and drag looks like a bar with an arrow on it), and format the new drive created as FAT32. Give it a letter (anything up to "Z"!!) and you're all set!

ok now get this, i have part of my hard drive as FAT and the other NTFS. i installed vice in the FAT partition. after i installed it i played it and it started just like it should. but when i tried it just now it didnt start again. whats happening?
