yeah that is if you have not installed sp1 yet, do this, download a bootscreen, first make a backup of the original bootscreen, then reboot in save mode, go to C:\Windows\System32 (should be in there), copy the new bootscreen, and paste it into the system32 directory. Then reboot normal and it should be okay.
Though i recommend not to do this, because if you have a faulty bootscreen or if you do anything wrong you can screw your computer big time. Happened to me and i had to reinstall xp, lost all of my data...so it's up to you.
