I seriously would consider the Creative Zen player over the Samsung just on the size and shape of the player. Creative's layout has the buttons on opposit sides of the screen (Similar to the layout of the older Nintendo GameBoy Advanced handheld). Plus display dimensions of 3.8" on the Creative as to 3.5" on the Samsung. Both are excellent products though.

I liked the samsung better, it was a bit lighter and had a sharper display, and the buttons felt really good, whereas the Zen was kind of press as hard as possible kind of device.

They are both using a TFT LCD display at a Resolution of 320x240.

Now were these the models that would be marketed to the public or were they for media/press demo presentation type stuff?

Reason I ask is cause I know that the Zen is heavier, (one of the sticking points in many reviews) but as for the buttons and sharpness were they gonna tweak that any before release day? Did anyone bring these problems/concerns to their attention and did they say anything reguarding these problems/concerns?

Test Models/Demo models. They were still tweaking them as i was playing with it
