Pandoras box

Hi

My girlfriend downlouded a trial of pandoras box earlier today but after a perfect install it wont start it gives the error message
"unable to create directdraw surface Make sure directx is installed and try again"

Wat is this ? directx is installed with windows not ?

thats strange ... the very latest DirectX is bundled with XP


if you go to Start > Run and type dxdiag


a DirectX diagnostics tool should pop up in a few seconds ...

go to the dispaly tab and see if Direct Draw is enabled ....

theres a heap of troubleshooters etc there too...
