There are plenty of post for this when search Google, but i can seem to find a solution. So straight to the point, since the computer wont post and the indicator light just fades in and out..the hd spins and the dvd drives open close...i assumed it was the mb. So i bought a Foxconn mb from newegg and installed it today to encounter the same issue. I could ASSUME its a faulty power supply? I have pulled and re-installed all components, wires...misc whatever...im pretty much lost.
Could this be a bad power supply or a bad cpu? I had at one point a link to gateway that told me what the lights/sounds mean if there is a failure...anyways ill pick up a power supply from frys tomorrow and see whats up.....any thoughts are appreciated!!!
Also today i picked up a new power supply and im having the same stupid issue...cound this be a bad cpu??
