    How to fix syntax error near unexpected token?

    After I type this: $ ./configure --target-list=i386-softmmu --static --enable-adlib I get this: ./configure: line 439: syntax error near unexpected token `fi' ./configure: line 439: `fi' Can somebody explain how to fix this- I'm pretty green @ Linux. Thanks
