So it was just xmas, and blu-ray seems to be getting more and more, at least it seems like it to me. So I am asking how many do you own, what do you think are must own blu-rays?

After xmas I now own 3 blu-ray movies.

    The Dark Knight
    The Mummy (new one)
    Wall-E

    All of them 2-disc specials.

Any movie with effects is worth it! I love Dark Knight and Iron Man. Also as mentioned above, anything by Kubrick! If you want a movie that is an eye popping check out The Fall. And don't forget Plant Earth!

I got a PS3 at the end of last summer and now have a few Blurays:

    Godfather Trilogy
    The Shining
    Full Metal Jacket
    Eyes Wide Shut
    2001: A Space Odyssey
    A Clockwork Orange
    There Will Be Blood
    Sophie Scholl
    Planet Earth (TV Series)

    I'd recommend any of those!

I got a player since it came with my TV - don't have any discs yet because they are a bit pricey. I think I will get Kill Bill vol1 and vol2 since those are some of my all time favs :D!

Has anyone else tried upgrading their firmware to see if your player supports BD Live?

  12. Spiderman 3. Came free with my PS3!

I've not used any discs with BDLive but powerdvd assures me it supports it :)

over here in the UK we can get blu-ray for the same price or less as dvd's

    play.com I believe they have a us/canada site too.

    edit: here we go http://www.playusa.com/

That is a pretty good site, $39.99 for blu-ray.
