Why does X P Professional edition occasionally drop out my Liteon CDRw and Pioneer 16X DVD rom drive so I cannot access either? They don't show up in windows explorer. In device manager they are yellowed out. The message says that there is a registry problem. Why does this happen and what can I do to fix? Help!!

Hmm well it seems that Windows is dropping your IDE controller drivers for the CD Roms, have had this happen to me many a time, download the right driver from whoever made your motherboard, install it and all should be fine again.

update your drivers, especially for your mobo, and it should be fixed

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
