xp to 98

how do i get from xp to win98? i want to get rid of xp and go to 98, my hard drive was blank when xp was installed, i hope that doesn't affect anything... i think my floppy drive isn't working so is there a way to install 98 and completely remove xp without a floppy drive?

You will have to use a Windows 98 Boot Disk to format it..since the file structure is different.....fdisk..then format the drive...then you can install 98 back to your hard drive

You will need a floppy drive to install Win98, as you will need to format the hard drive.
After that I think the CD is bootable.
