Xp Home Or Pro???

I currently have XP home on my computer but also have the XP pro disk. Would it be worth installing pro edition? What is the difference?

The only differences are Pro has the extra security / profile management, where you can set permissions per user and for any folders / drives. XP Home ONLY adds security to your profile folder and documents. Also XP Pro has more networking options, which for a home user are not necessary.

XPHome should do you fine, unless you have a small business or network with shared resources.

But its upto you really, essentially Home & Pro use the same engine behind.

You also get gpedit.msc with Pro, woo!

Also if you plan to use Visual studio.net you will need pro.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
