how do I tell xwindow to start under gnome instead of KDE.
im on slack 9.0
i'm half passed out so I'm probably not much help but I do remember its a file you have to edit in your home directory
lol. no problem man. thanks anyway.
you can change the default runlevel which will then start either gdm or kdm as a login manager, you can pick your xwm from there. Our you can create an .xinitrc file in your home directory with
create a new text file .xinitrc in your home directory and add those lines to it, that tells x to load gnome when you type in startx
I guess you could do it the easy way, type xwmconfig at a terminal
