About 3 years ago I was using ZA and I uninstalled it for some reason, only to discover that my Internet stopped working. I didnt make the connection until i reinstalled it and voila internet was working again. I've avoided ZA like the plague ever since. Tried outpost for a bit, but after 2 years of never upgrading it, I switched to kpf for a bit but it was still beta and buggy, decided to give sygate a shot and have not looked back since. I gave Outpost pro a shot recently but it allowed certain things access to the internet without prompting and even worse, blocked other things without prompting. Back to Sygate and I'm happy for now.

Try Sygate it's free and gives you information out if you are worried about trojans.

Yeah I would 2nd this. I would stay FAR away from BlackIce as thats even worse then ZA IMHO. As far as Outpost I havn't used it but I believe it to be a quality firewall.
