Wingate Client and IRC...

Is it possible to get a WG client PC onto mirc through a proxy server ? I'v tried to connect to one but it says "Unable to connect" in mirc.

Anyone know if this is possible ? If so how ??

Go to file > options > Expand Connect > Firewall and Check the "Proxy" box

And fill in the details

I tried everything possible in that connect box, my pc ip, ip of the proxy and whatever i try it says "Unable to connect" or firewall invalid.

I have enable mirc.exe in the applications part in the client program

is there anything else i need to do which is necasarry ?
