I am trying out Windowsblinds for the 30 day trial. I used it back in the day but it was basically crap back then, used to many resources and I had a crappier computer.

Since I soon will be going to Vista and it's not as easy to hack the uxtheme.dll anymore, and I have become more lazy this seems like a good solution.

I am asking you guys what your favorite themes of all time is for Windowsblinds, or maybe not of all time but right now. I would like to try out your recommended themes before paying for it.

    Thanks.

I'd not be opposed to paying for skins if people came up with stuff worth paying for.

However I don't believe windowblind skins are as good as some of the freebies that were around for XP in the shellstyling heyday.

I do notice that as well, i find a lot of the WB themes to be bulky and extreme in size and colors alot of the time. Though some of them can look very good. I also believe you can convert some normal themes into a WB theme with there software. That would also be awesome to learn.

Try Thunderstorm by Treetog. I don't have like but search for it and see if you like it.

Thanks guys. There really aren't that many out there. I am also started to not like having an extra process running in the background, but that is only because I am picky. You guys think patching the Vista uxtheme.dll will get easier soon? And Visual Style making be as big as it has been for xp?

I still don't understand why Microsoft has not just allowed us to install our own themes without hacking. They should of known by now.

How about some nice Vista themes that don't require WB, and ones that are not hard to get working in Vista.....
