Windows XP on my notebook keeps freezing for no apparent reason resulting in having to switch off and restart without been able to close windows. This means I lose all of my current work. This has only started since I formated and reinstalled windows as it became very unstable and I lost the sound. Can anyone let me know how to solve this problem.
Many thanks
Dave

When you reformatted did you reinstall from a quick restore cd or a normal windows XP cd? If you installed from a normal cd did you reinstall all of the motherboard and audio/video drivers??

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
