    Hi folks.

I remember hearing about a lite version of Windows (w98, I think it was).
-I couldn't say if it's legal or not, or if it's free.

Does anyone know what it is and where to find it ?
And if it's worth it ?

    Thanks.

By the way, I don't mean Linux. (I would like to install this for a 50 something guy, not that much into computers, who just needs it for Word and maybe Internet).

    no problem, glad to help.

If you choose to install it without IE yup. There's a few different install modes, from barebones to bloated. If you choose the bloated install, it will install everything, but will add it all into the add/remove list, so later you can uninstall what you want. Can't wait till they get a win2000 version out.
