windows 2000 professional question (please read)

  1. hi,
I haven't played with windows 2000 in awhile and I forgot how to call up windows 2000's version of "MSCONFIG"?
I have a client on my network that downloaded xupiter and I need to get that off of there and there and that's the only place I can think of where it starts up.

can anyone tell me how to get there?

    thanks!

Don't really know. What have you tried so far?
    What about start/run/msconfig?

yeah thats the way with any Windows i guess... Run> msconfig... I have windows 2k but i can be bothered... since its the same engine (almost as XP) i would say that run> msconfig is the way (XP is like that...)

    i don't think win2k comes with msconfig.

here try this. its my msconfig.exe file.

  5. yeah, windows 2000 does not have msconfig (maybe because win NT doesn't?)
    oDin,
    is that a win2000 msconfig?

I will try that and will let you know if it works!

    thanks!
