When I left work today our systems admin guy was upgrading our workstations from NT (!) to Win2000. This is the only Windows OS I haven't toyed with yet and am open to suggestion as to what settings I should screw with first...heh heh

Any pitfalls or annoyances I should be braced for?

Hmm you being a NT user don't expect anything bad to come out of this, except maybe some issues about NT software. To screw around with: active desktop, and well anything! Take a look at the control panel vs. NT 4.0 or 3.5? style, and you will like it a lot more. Other than that just search google for "windows 2000 tricks and tips." Enjoy Windows 2000, its a good OS, as I run it on my laptop.

yep 2000 is an excellent OS, it is very (and I mean VERY) stable! Never crashed once when I used it!
